I use realplayer downloader to download videos from YouTube in Chrome, but the Download This Video button doesn’t appear on the webpage. What causes my realplayer downloader not working? Anyone have the same trouble with me?

RealPlayer is a popular media player which lets you play videos, download videos, convert videos, share videos and etc. The download feature is so convenient, it supports users to download videos from YouTube, Facebook, Atom, Vimeo only in one click. Yet, there’s a weak point- the download button often misses and then RealPlayer downloader not working. In this case, you should know that the download button only will show if you do these preparations:

    1. Download and install the latest version of RealPlayer downloader.

I recommend you to get the software from the Real official site. When you come to the last step during installation, the window will remind you to close web browser, just accept it.

    2. Update your browser to the latest version, enable the RealPlayer downloader in it.

Lots of users will ignore this step, it is very important actually. In most conditions, the Real downloader will auto-enable after you install the software. But sometimes it needs you to enable it manually. Click Tools tab on your browser, go to manage extensions or add-on to activate the Real Downloader.

    3. Install latest Adobe Flash Player.

If you use the old flash player, some streaming videos cannot play normal. This is one of the reasons that lead to RealPlayer downloader not working on YouTube, Dailymotion, Vimeo, Facebook and other video sites.

After you finish these stuffs, you can play the wanted video. Hover your mouse on video screen, the Download This Video button will appear, click it to save the video to your computer.

It happens that you did all these things but the download button still can’t be found. Especially, the Google Chrome users complain a lot on this trouble. Thus, I advise you to fix RealPlayer downloader not working in Chrome by disable Pepper Flash.

Open the Chrome browser, enter chrome://plugins/ in the URL bar. On the right top of the webpage, you can see the Details options, click it. The first part is the Adobe Flash Player option. Disable the pepper flash, the location is C:\Users\123\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\PepperFlash\\pepflashplayer.dll. After that, restart the Google Chrome and download your favorite videos.

Actually, RealPlayer is not a professional downloader, so you are allowed to download videos from limited sites. For example, Real downloader not working when you download MTV, Yahoo or BBC videos. Have you ever stumbled upon this question? Well, perhaps you can try other video downloading apps. Video Grabber is an easy and practical tool. It provides users the ability to download videos from more than a thousand sites. It is a browser-based downloader and compatible with all the major browsers. Whenever you need to download a video, just go to the site, input video link address to blank bar, run Java and grab video off net. Besides, you can take the advantage of record screen function. You are ensured to download any video online. Follow the demo and see how it works.

Big thanks for your help. :D
