When you face so many video download tools, I suppose most people having difficulties in choosing one to help with online download. In fact, some add-ons or extension of browsers can be effective in doing this job. So I’m going to show some video download add-ons in this post.

    For Firefox users:
Without a doubt, nearly everyone knows the popular Video DownloadHelper. You can get it easily by Google search. After installing it, the small tool will embedded in the Firefox and presents as an icon under the menu bar. It begins to detect video files while you open the webpage. Video DownloadHelper icon looks grey when no videos are found, it moves and turns to colorful means that video on the page is being detected and can be downloaded right away. At this time, you should click on the icon. Choose the video which you desire to download. Quick Download will help you download videos to the PC directly. If you desire to rename the video file and set the output folder, hit Download. The add-on also can be worked as a video converter, select the target format and begin to download by clicking Download & Convert. Easy and convenient, right?

Tips: Video DownloadHelper facilitates users to download videos from hundreds of sites like YouTube, Dailymotion, Vimeo, Meatacafe etc. Yet, the online videos couldn’t be downloaded off if the icon doesn’t light up while you play them.

    For Google Chrome users:
Google Chrome is also a popular browser, numerous of add-ons can be found in the Chrome Web Store. Enter the keywords “video downloader” and search, you will see several programs of this kind which named FVD Video Downloader, YouTube Downloader, Vimeo Video Download and more. I’m hard to tell which one is the best, that’s all your choice. The operations of video downloaders are similar with Video DownloadHelper.

Based on my experience, these add-ons might be useless when downloading obscure video-sharing sites. If this question arises, try videograbber or videograbber pro. Good luck! :)

    Thanks to sharing dowloading software.

I have tried all of these video download apps, don’t want to install any plugin and software to download online videos. is the best way to save online videos.
For RTMP videos from Yahoo, CBS, Spike, Video Grabber Pro can handle this easily!

personal fun & time pass only for me.
