I am evaluating Video Grabber Pro and have a couple of questions
I cannot download Vevo Videos using the normal methods But then when I select Advance Video Detector I get the message ‘Navigation to the webpage was canceled’. My default browser is Firefox but this also happens if I use IE
Is it possible to use the editor to join 2 videos together and use the Effects feature to do a simple fade out / Fade in as the 1st ends and the 2nd starts It appears that the Evaluation version is restricted Is this correct

According to your feedback, I tested video grabber pro. It worked well for VEVO video download after pasting the url into advanced video detector. Perhaps you may upgrade it to the latest version. Regarding to the second question, video grabber pro features simple video editor. You can join two videos together by click Merge icon, the Effect function also allows to do simple fade out/fade in. To be clear, the Evaluation version will not restrict this.August 27, 2013 at 7:57 pm
Thanks for your reply I have managed to download Vevo OK now however when I downloaded the following link it came as a flv file When I tried to convert to a MP4 it made a real mess of it Perhaps you can try
Also do I have any choice on what format the download is in no matter which approach is used
It appears to me also that when editing a file that the various effects apply to the whole file only so I cannot see how I can do a simple fade out/ fade in as you suggest Please tell me what you understand by this and how you manage it

I have learnt your question about converting and edition, you can try again as the following steps.
Step 1: right click your downloaded video, select the option of Add to convert.
Step 2: click the Video Edit button, select the Effect
Step 3: select Enable Effect and you can do simple fade out/fade in, then click OK
Step 4: choose the mp4 format as your output file, click start and wait the file finished.
However, video grabber pro features simple video editor, if you want a rather professional editor software, I suggest one below: http://www.apowersoft.com/edit-videoMarch 26, 2014 at 11:22 pm
I’ve just completed downloading a video, and the file format is .FLV. Problem, when I convert it to .MP4 I’m only getting 1min. of a 11min. video. What am I doing wrong. I need the full 11mins.
