Can’t Download Videos AnymoreViews : 17531 Replies : 21 Likes : 0 2014-03-28 18:37 #1
I can’t download anymore videos.
I have been using VG on a regular basis and now until about a week ago I can’t download anything. Whenever I search a link to a YouTube video all that comes up is “Sorry, currently we could not find any download link.” This even comes up for videos that I have previously download too. Does VG not support YouTube anymore?
I’ve cleared all of my caches and everything. Still no results.

It seems that downloading video from Youtube is also impossible for me, since at least *2 weeks* now… I always get the message ”sorry, couldn’t find the link”, whenever I try.
Google/Youtube might very well have changed some kind of security measure or whatever… or screwed their own website, again.

Sorry for later reply. According to your feedback, I tested it myself, everything goes well on my PC. I want to make it clear that Video Grabber has maximum daily download limits, you can only download just three videos within a day so that our server will be more stable. If you have downloaded the video more than three times, you should reuse it in another day. And when you copy the video URL, it could not find the download link. But what if you want to download videos without limits, you should become a premium member, then you restart your browser and it will proceed to download.
- Nova25 : I, literally, download 1 single video per *week*... or at least I was only a few (2-3) weeks back, now...Your website stopped working effectively, a few weeks ago, for many people, and I would like to know why ?Personally, I suppose that Google/Youtube put a new security/anti-download element that is blocking this website, which clearly hasn't been dealt with so far.

I cannot download anymore videos from youtube. Is it linked to the url, starting now with https ? Before, it was only http…
Thanks for your answer.
- Nova25 : You know what ? I'm not sure to recall it (the extra 's', for ''secure http page'') being on Youtube's video URLs before some time ago... before this website stopped working, in fact...

Mine is not working either. I’ve tried everything and still get the “sorry” message.

Hello, try to enable the Java applet. If still does not work, you might need to upgrade to the latest version of Java applet. Hope it helps.

The problem is NOT fixed Alice!! Tried on my PC and my wife’s Mac. Both used to work just fine. Now, neither work. This is the first download attempt today.

If you get the “unable to find download link” this is what I did (for IE, doesn’t work for chrome firefox etc.).
Go to tools, internet options, security, now uncheck the box for “enable protect mode” and restart the browser. vidz should now download again : )
I was hesitant to post this because they will find a way to stuff that up.

yep, it got stuffed. *sigh* it was a good website you had here once.

the plugin applet is not showing up for dl in IE it only directs you to download “java” not a “plugin” from vg

the link to the plugin seems to pop up correctly and work fine in firefox just not in IE v.11

So, this is just broken for good then? Shame no one bothered to fix it.
